Hello

I'm Marko Franković, founder and principal of MF Arhitekti, an architecture practice based in Rijeka, at the heart of the Kvarner Bay. Over the past 25 years I have led or contributed to more than 1,200 projects, ranging from the conservation of protected cultural heritage to contemporary residential, tourism and educational buildings — and, as one of the first architects in Croatia to build in cross-laminated timber, I remain equally at home designing in wood. My work is guided by respect for context, whether that means restoring a historic structure or shaping a new building for the way people actually live and work today. I invite you to explore our projects and get in touch to discuss your own
